Everyone with the iOS 4.1 wants jailbreakme to make a firmware for it. The question is, is it coming out. I've heard that is will be out in December. People say that Apple will try to stop it, but it is the only legal jailbreak. This is because an Apple member did it and he didn't get fined or anything.
Yes but you will lose all the jailbreak features.
i have an itouch jailbroken with 3.0 i didn't install 3.1.2, but i don't think it will do something to it.
Yes, the 3.x.x firmware is the last version of firmware that can be jailbroken directly on the device. Visit JailBreakMe (.com) on your iDevice to initiate the jailbreaking process.
No. Updating the iPad's firmware will remove any jailbreak that has been installed.
All firmwares are currently jailbreakable. If you want the latest features, go for iOS 7.1.1 but it can not be jailbroken
Currently, the iPod Touch 3rd generation cannot be jailbroken because it has a built-in firewall of sorts, a measure taken by Apple to prevent the iPod Touch from being jailbroken. There is a jailbreak software currently being beta-tested, but is not ready for public use.
No. If you are concerned about jailbreaking, you can always restore the firmware (this will erase all jailbroken apps, but you will still have your iPod). The only real risk is if you were messing around manually in the filesystem, and even then you should be able to reach DFU mode (Google it)
iOS 3.1.3 can be jailbroken straight from the device itself using JailBreakMe (.com) or by downloading problems like redsn0w or blackra1n.
yes. the current update is 3.1.3 and to update to it you have to restore you iphone, update it then re-jailbreak it. but at this moment in time this is not an jailbreak for firmware 3.1.3.
Well the no matter what you do. Update, Restore, and etc, you have to rejailbreak it.
It shouldn't really be any different than getting it with a normal one. Make sure your firmware is properly updated.
yes sir
