Where can you get a hard hat on club penguin?

There are two hardhats, The red and orange one and the yellow one Yellow Hardhat: Featured in Penguin Style (Job page) This will only appear once every year or so! You can get a hard hat whenever Club Penguin is working on building something. Last time they gave it out, we were re-building the Dojo.

you go to mines and go up the stairs and there is this penguin you click on him and it sez here is your free hard hat xx Dannyy

It could be anywhere at any time. It could be in the gift shop in the "on the job" page, or it could be in a box where you could walk up to it and get it for free during a special event.

go underground to the place where you have to throw snowballs to get light and click on the pile of hard hats on the left side.

Well, you DON'T get them every time though, but you can get them sometimes when it's selling them or for free. Remember you don't get them every time.
