To fix this I pulled my Sony deck and unplugged the cable harness, it must have reset the unit. It has not happenend since I did that. Have a nice day. I have owned Sony head units before, and can tell you with 100% certainty that the problem is not in the harness or any type of reset switch. You need to buy a different brand head unit. Sony is good, but ALWAYS faulty somehow.
