Remove plastic cover with T-Mobile Logo from left side of unit to reveal sim card location.
A simple reset will cure whatever ails your Sidekick. To start, remove the battery and SIM card from your Sidekick. From there, flip the Sidekick open and hold the "R" key, then put the battery back in the Sidekick. Do not, however, insert the SIM card yet. At this point, the Sidekick should restart itself. Make sure not to let go of the "R" key until your Sidekick has restarted completely. Once your Sidekick has fully restarted, remove the battery, then re-insert it--along with the SIM card--and turn on your Sidekick. This should restore all your factory settings.

yes u can my cousin has a sidekick and she has pay as u go but it depends on were u live 8:
sidekick 2 it goes under the rubber bumper and on the 3 behind the battery
Okay here is the correct answer: If the phone does NOT have a Sim card it CANT be flashed into cricket. Only phones without a Sim card can be flashed. But there might be a solution to that because the sidekick doesn't require a Sim card to work so just call cricket to verify that you are able to flash it before you go to the store.
a prepaid Sim card is a Sim card that you pay as you go AT&t tracfone and t-mobile
Basically almost every sidekick runs on a internet plan.. so that is probably why you loosing all your data when you turn it off, that is only if you don't have it, it'll loose all the information. What you should do is go to address book and press ''View'' and then ''Sim Card'' and save your contacts on sim card. Or if not get yourself a memory card where you could save everything. That is all you could possibly do, most likely for a sidekick 08 ..
The SIM card goes in the SIM card slot that can be seen after you remove a battery in the Motorola v66e.
yes any sim card can go in any phone
there is no sim card for this phone. you just activate it and it works
"An orange sim means nothing, but an Orange SIM card is a pay as you go type of card. Orange is a mobile phone service company, and according to their website, a sim card is free."
