There were two Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977. The most distant is Voyager 1 which is currently just of 10 billion miles from the Sun.
Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, both launched in 1977 are now both in the region of the solar sytem called the heliosheath, over 16 Billion kilometres away form the earth.
The heliosheath is the region of the solar system between the Termination Shock Zone and the Heliopause
Voyager 1 was launched on the 5th of September 1977 and Voyager 2 was launched before voyager 1 on the 20th of August 1977.
Voyager 1 was launched on September 5, 1977, and Voyager 2 was launched on August 20, 1977.
There are two Voyager spacecraft. Voyager 2 was launched on August 20 1977. Voyager 1, despite its no.1 ranking, was launched second on September 5 1977.
NASA launched it in September 1977 from Cape Canaveral.
Two of the US space probes are Voyager I and Voyager 2. NASA launched Voyager I on September 5, 1977. Voyager II ended up being launched before Voyager I on August 20, 1977.
The voyager was lol XD
Voyager 1 and 2 were launched by the USA in 1977 and after 34 years are still sending back valuable information. Their mission is now to explore interstellar space and should be beyond the influence of the sun in a few more years.
Voyager 1 was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida on September 5, 1977. It was launched aboard a Titan IIIE/Centaur rocket.
There were many Pioneer missions. Please see link for more information
Voyager II was launched on August 22, 1977. It is still operational today.
Voyager 2 was launched first on August 20, 1977, followed by Voyager 1, which was launched on September 5, 1977. Although Voyager 2 was the first to launch, Voyager 1 ultimately became the first spacecraft to enter interstellar space in 2012. Both missions have provided invaluable data about the outer planets and continue to communicate with Earth.
