It's either the Palm Pixi Plus or The Palm Pre, it depends on who you are and what you like
Palm Pre and Palm Pre Plus only come in black. Pixi and Pixi Plus also are only available in black but accessory backs are avaialble in several colors including yellow, red and blue. Also available are artist backs, backs which have artwork that add color.
the palm pre and palm pixi are the same type of phone, with slight differences. other than the difference in screen size, megapixel (3px vs. 2px) and access to Wi-Fi, they are the same. yet, the palm pre is more expensive than the pixi. they are both touch screen and have a qwerty keyboard and same battery length.
The major difference between the palm z and the palm pre plus is the amount of internal storage. The palm z has only 8 GB while the palm pre plus has 16GB. They both have the ability to store and download apps.
Yes, the Palm Pixi runs WebOS, it is a smartphone operating system that all of Palm's current-generation phones run including the Palm Pixi and Palm Pre. While the Palm Pixi isn't the most powerful smartphone out there, it is sill a smartphone.
no. You don't need one. The Palm Pre has a 16 GB Memory so the Pixi should not be far behind.
yes it is a great phone! alot of features like the pre.
The Palm Pre Plus. Its keyboard has much more spaced out keys that are easier and faster to type on.
The Palm Pixi is currently the besto verall Verizon Cell phone. The Palm Pre is a close sceond.
I own a palm pre plus and I love it. It is amazing and you definitely won't regret getting one. I think it is much better than the iPhone 4.
I have found on AT&T you can also disable 3G network on Palm Pixi Plus, I haven't tried on Pre, however I guess that does work also! the procedures are 99% similar as below, however, you can see the option:"data usage". Just disable it, you can see the 3G symbol disappears! Bingo! Apparently, AT&T has disabled this feature for the Palm Pixi Plus. If you have another carrier, you should follow these steps: 1. Open the green phone (the dialer). 2. Tap the top left part of the screen (the gray box with the arrow on the right side) 3. Tap "preferences" 4. Under "Network", the setting should be on "automatic," which means the phone will connect to 3G if it is available, and switch back to 2G when it is not. Tap this and change it to 2G only. According to these websites and a phone call to Palm, AT&T has disabled this feature for the Palm Pixi Plus.
Yes!
YES, a palm pre plus can record videos and then edit them, and as it has a 3 megapixel camera the videos will be of good quality.
