The simple answer is George Washington.
Alexander Hamilton
Alexander Hamilton is the design of the obverse of the ten dollar bill. The reverse of the bill shows the United States Treasury building.
Alexander Hamilton is currently pictured on the $10 bill. Mention has been made of plans to put a woman on this bill, but I do not think they have been finalized.
The US has never issued a $500,000 bill. According to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the largest bill ever printed for circulation was worth $10,000, and the largest printed for internal government use was $100,000.

Not "was", but "is" - his picture has been on the $2 bill since 1929.

The face value of any bill or coin is its denomination - i.e. the value printed / struck on its face. So, the face value of any $2 bill is 2 dollars. The collector value of a bill may be a lot higher or in some cases lower than its face value, though, depending on supply and demand. In the case of a 1976 $2 bill, so many were printed that any you find in circulation are only worth $2 to a collector as well. A nice-quality uncirculated one might sell for all of $3.
