i brought some active 3d glasses for my lg 42pw450t 3d TV but they don't work
LG televisions use passive glasses so you will not find LG active glasses. Actually, LG has made several models of active 3D televisions, despite their current push for passive. LG glasses such as the AGS100 will not work with Samsung televisions. If you are looking for lower priced glasses for your Samsung TV, try the Monoprice website.
No my friend you cannot have LG 3D TV glasses separately. To get the glasses you have to buy LG 3D TV with new FPR technology. In SG type 3D TV technology the 3D effect comes out from the glasses but in the case of FPR technology the 3D effect comes out from the TV.
The cheap brands such as LG and Vizio will work in the cinema but when you are given glasses every time you visit the theater, why would you want to?
LG Cinema 3D glasses are really cheap. You can get them for $5-$10 and you can even take one from the movie theater and use at home with LG Cinema 3D.
No. there is no way you can use LG 3D glasses on Samsung 3D TV, they use different technology.
LG cinema 3D glasses have no batteries, they do not need recharging :).
LG 3D TVs have the cheapest glasses. The passive 3D TVs that is. They require the use of polarized lens which will work on almost any passive 3D TV and the cinema as well.
Well buddy! Recently LG has launched Smart 3d tv in India & LG claims that we are using the FPR 3d tv technology which have the most comfortable 3d glasses throughout the world. Hence, LG provides the most comfortable 3d glasses in India.
There is no law, regulation or rule that says you must not wear LG 3D glasses to a party. However, you may want to seek advice from a close friend or fashionista about the wisdom of wearing any 3D glasses to parties. Just to be clear, their advice to NOT wear LG 3D glasses to party probably can be applied equally to all other makes of 3D glasses.
Active 3d glasses will not work with passive 3d TV. Active glasses use shutter 3D technology that requires a power source to power the lenses in the glasses. Passive glasses don't have electronics or batteries. Hence, they are lighter and more comfortable. Active and passive TV work using completely different technology and thus active glasses cannot work on passive TV.
Currently, all 3D televisions need glasses but the latest one are now only a few grams in weight. Active glasses are almost as light as passive glasses so there is no need to put up with the reduced resolution of LG passive 3D just to get light glasses.
No, there is no battery used in LG's 3D TV glasses as they have chosen to use passive glasses.
