Why does imvu say download failed when you download it?

IMVU WONT download because you don't have enough memory on Ur computer or you cant download with that type of computer i did try to download but it didn't work sorry mate. cant really help you on this.

Illoriah: Okay I don't know about the above person, but as far as I know, it depends on the system you have. I had the same problem, and I'm using Windows Vista (Could be the same problem with Windows 7). All you do is find the installer on your computer, right click and click run as administrator. It should work then for you.

If it's Windows XP, try downloading it again. Or check your anti-virus software. It could be blocking some parts of the installer.

Because your computer probably can't use the download resources that are used for that game

you may have a pop up blocker that needs some disabling or your computer may have a setting that needs to have the setting that you need to be thee computers owner to download something .
