it could be one of two things. either the water lines to your bath tub arn't sized properly or you have something in your water line that has pushed thruogh and got cought around your shower valve. if it's a sizing problem your tub would be at the end of the run on your system, (it would be furthest away from your water heater). If it's your valve you can shut off your water main and pull the valve stem. Then quickly turn your main on and off a couple of times to blow out any debri. THis is usually caused by sediment in the water heater that gets shaken up when the heater is filling. == Answer== If new house and always did it with slab floor, it could be crimped hot water line under slab, something in hot side of valve and if copper water lines were used, i have seen the pipe go all the way into a tee, and it was blocking the water outlet line to faucet. If it is old house it will be most likely something in hot water side of faucet. I would call plumber. There are still other things it could be like temp. valves.
