Since you are able to send them then we can rule out your device. If you are not receiving any text messages at all then there is a problem either with your account setup or your service provider's network. In either case you need to call Customer Service and explain your problem. If you are only unable to receive from certain carriers then you need to have those people that are unable to text you call their service provider and report the problem.
