Why doesn't Answers.com control the quality of answers posted on WikiAnswers?

WikiAnswers QualityAnswers.com is the overall brand for the website that brings you answers about anything. It's comprised of a few parts, and when you ask a question, you may get an answer from either of them: ReferenceAnswers is where you'll find referenced, reliable information from established sources. WikiAnswers is different. On this site you ask and answer questions yourself. The answers come from volunteers from all over the world. As a volunteer wiki, the community controls the quality. The quality of answers on WikiAnswers is actually improving very heavily. With more and more users coming onto the best Q&A site in the world, the quality of answers submitted have been overwhelmingly outstanding. Unfortunately, with more users participating comes more vandals. In these cases, the answers are not of great quality at all, but with the help of our Supervisors, they are removed as quickly as possible.

Because some people are too busy asking questions and not answering them. Other people who do answer them don't take time and they write a sentence or two. Some people actually take time on answers.
