Some people have been told repeatedly that they don't know anything, and have accepted that they cannot have any insight into the world, or life, or other people. (this is usually not true) Some people are looking not for answers, but for validation. If others believe as you do, it supports your self-confidence and ego. (this is not a bad thing) Those who have made mistakes in their past may question their own judgment, and seek advice from others who have apparently made better decisions. Some see the failings and mistakes of others and wish to avoid them. Having different experiences or outlooks can give valuable insight, and provide a fresh viewpoint on personal and societal matters. No matter how wise or experienced someone becomes, there is usually someone even wiser or more experienced. And even the wisest may learn new things from others deemed less wise.

We can't know whether your answers are correct in first looking at them... just like you can't know in a lot of cases, even when you read it in a book or watch it on TV. You have to compare sources, and use critical thinking. If the answer sounds ridiculous, look further. If the answer is important to you, confirm it by comparing sources.
You can put links in your answers or in the sources.
