thermal expansion.
Heating a ball increases the air pressure inside, which causes the ball to inflate. This is due to the gas inside the ball expanding when heated, pushing against the walls of the ball and causing it to expand.
It should be at the end of the big radiator hose on top of the engine but if your car is over heating its probably the head or intake gasket leaking. look in your overflow tank and see if its bubbling or pushing out fluid with cap of or blowing white smoke out exhaust.
I had the same problem. Found a little sensor in the overflow tank. I was able to fix it by putting the float back over the shaft and pushing a speed nut onto the shaft with needle nose pliers.
Mostly the unification of Greece under Alexander the Great and his pushing for expansion into Persian lands.
If you are going against the wind, it is pushing you backwards causing a "negative acceleration"--or deceleration.
Hi, Only if there is no propulsive force such as a fan pushing the air. If the force is gravity then yes, it would be convective.
First I would let the car sit overnight. The next BEFORE starting the engine, open the hood and inspect the level of the coolant in the OVERFLOW JAR. If level is too high, adjust to proper level ( sometimes the container is accidently OVERFILLED ) . If it continues, extreme temps caused by one of many things is pushing the coolant out of the overflow tube
Frost breaks up rocks by the process of frost wedging. Water seeps into cracks in the rocks and freezes, expanding as it turns into ice. The expansion creates pressure that forces the cracks to widen, eventually causing the rock to break apart.
Heating the jar causes the air inside to expand, increasing the pressure. This added pressure helps to loosen the lid by pushing it away from the jar, making it easier to remove. Additionally, heating can also help to soften any sticky substances that may be causing the lid to stick.
I Had the same Problem. I change my Transmission screen and replace the gasket. this solved my problem.
It is a ridge that was formed by tectonic plates pushing upwards causing it to make mountains in the shape of a ridge
