Yeah i doesnt work if you turn up the brightness. I tried turning off auto brightness, turning it off and turning it back on.
Lenovo has bad screen brightness. I have Lenovo G480 the screen is not bright even on power plug with maximum brightness setting. I should test the screen brightness before buy it. I have my old Acer laptop the screen is superb. After all Lenovo is a purely China brand...
there is none, unless your talking about the cheat section on gta4, all you have to do is enter a cheat once and it will be saved on your phone.

One is most likely the light sensor. It tells the phone if it is dark to lower the brightness as not to strain your eyes. The other is the proximity sensor. It tells the phone to ignore touches on the screen when you have it near your face for a call... so you don't accidentally hang up.
Hold down the Fn key (next to the CTRL key) - and press either F6 or F7 to change the brightness. Release both keys when you have the desired level. The screen will retain the level until you want to change it again.

The iMac keyboard has brightness keys - on the current model on the F1 and F2 keys. The screen can be calibrated by selecting Displays within System Preferences, then clicking the Color button and the Calibrate... button. This will talk you through the screen calibration.
That probably means that the lcd screen has a polarising filter. All you need to do is to turn your 'phone's screen to a different angle and the filter will become invisible!
