When iPods are updated, sometimes the dock connector pin configuration is changed. When that happens, some older accessories (like chargers and speaker docks) may not work with newer iPods or iPhones.
To see if your accessory is compatible with your iPod or iPhone, visit the support area of the accessory manufacturer's website.
It is also possible that the dock connector on either the iPod or the accessory may be damaged or blocked in some way (for example, with corrosion). Examine the dock connectors closely with a lighted magnifier to check for damage or contaminants.
Ihome speakers can be purchased at such websites as: www.amazon.com or www.ihome.com.
Im pretty sure that your ipod touch will work with ihome ih5 as the speakers are made for ipods they work with any type of ipod out there. If on the cover/box of the ihome ih5 says that it will only work with ipod nano ipod video etc. and ipod touch is not on there it only means that the speakers were made before the ipod touch came out and Im 100% sure that it will work with your ipod. I bought speakers for ipod (i also have an ipod touch) and the information on the box didn't include ipod touch as the electronic that the speakers will work with but my ipod works perfectly with the speakers and I have no problems with it.
Yes. Amazon sells IHOME iHM79BC rechargeable mini speakers. Go here to see them in black: http://www.amazon.com/IHOME-iHM79BC-Rechargeable-Speakers-Black
iHome was founded in 2005 by SDT Technologies. iHome offers clock radios, alarm clocks, headphones and speakers for the iPod, iPad and iPhone.
A majority of iHome speakers have favorable reviews on Amazon.com - http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=ihome+speakers&x=0&y=0. If possible, try to test out iHome products in a store that carries them, so you can get a feel of which speaker is best for your needs and your wallet.
Not that know of, i have an iHome, and just got an iTouch, it works fine
The speakers available from iHome are small rechargeable bluetooth or mini speakers. They also stock LED colour changing mini speakers which can be used with laptops, iPhones, iPods or MP3 players.
The iHome iP39 is only compatible with the first 3 generations of the iPod Touch. The 4th generation iPod Touch cannot be used.
YES! They work wonders! They are amazing high deftion speakers just for a low price
Unplug it from your ihome or computer, and then use it.
Yes, you can pair two iHome iBT60 speakers to your iPhone, but only one speaker can connect at a time through Bluetooth. However, if you want to use both speakers simultaneously, you can use a feature like Apple's AirPlay 2 or a Bluetooth transmitter that supports dual pairing. Check the speaker's manual for specific pairing instructions and compatibility features.
An iHome speaker is a better brand to get. Generic speakers will be hit or miss but name brand is almost always the better pick for quality and longevity.
