The Sidekick Slide and Sidekick LX are different models : ). The Slide is already available from Telstra*. The price of the Slide should be $700+ from your local Telstra store. hey well a hiptop can be from 500 to 600 dollars ,If you were to buy this phone it would be best to go on a telstra hiptop plan for $30 a month. It is a really good plan with unlimited mms, sms, web browsing, yahoo messenger, msn and more. But you would have to pay an additional $29 a month for the headset and phone. SO really it is $50 a month or you can get it on eBay for atleast $300 hope i helpedxx

if you have a plan, and you have T-Mobile you will have to call T-Mobile and tell them that your using a sidekick. It will be worse or maybe you will have to pay more if the bill comes because T-Mobile does not known that your using a sidekick.

No. You can use the sidekick for texting and phoning and elect not to have the sidekick package which costs an extra 20 per month. It's a cool phone and t-mobile has some pretty nice rates for phone and text only.
