Yes I have used Chegg, but only after searching online to make sure I am getting the best price.
CHEGG originally stood for "chicken" and "egg", representing the idea of which one comes first. However, over the years, the company CHEGG has evolved into a leading online learning platform offering textbook rentals, homework help, and other educational services.
Chegg is an online platform that offers a variety of services for students, including textbook rentals, homework help, online tutoring, and study resources. Students can access these services by subscribing to Chegg's offerings through their website.
Chegg typically receives requests from its users for help with homework, study materials, tutoring, and textbook solutions.
Chegg is a complete platform for students to solve their study-related problems. You can buy a solution for any problem from Chegg or hire tutor for further assistance. You can also rent your books to Chegg to earn money or become a tutor on it.There are many websites just like Chegg. You can visit courseeagle or coursehero websites for further comparison.
If you want cheap textbooks then buy early, and buy online. Personally I use http://www.bigwords.com so I only have to search one place. They are a textbook search engine that searches all the online textbook retailers (including amazon, half, eBay etc) and rental sites (including chegg, bookrenter etc) to find you the best prices. You can even use them at the end of the semester to search for resellers to sell your books to. I used chegg. It was amazing. Saved 70 bucks on two books.
If you are in need of a textbook you can buy one from the student store at your local school or you can download an etextbook but there are no rentals currently available.
Comparisons of textbook prices can be made at Chegg, Books Price, Amazon, BookFinder4U, Cheapest Textbooks and Book Eagle. Your local college bookstore may also have a way to compare prices as well.
Chegg was created in 2005.
On Chegg, you can ask up to 20 questions per month with a Chegg Study subscription.
Solutions manuals are supplements to textbooks which list all answers to all questions in the textbook. Websites such as Cramster and Chegg offer access to solutions manuals.
You can purchase the textbook "College Accounting" online from websites like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Chegg. Alternatively, you can check with your college bookstore or local bookstores to see if they carry it in stock.
Often it is possible to buy "used" textbooks in the school book store. As well, ask around, perhaps someone else has taken the class and has the book. You could also advertise for the book on craigslist.org and see if anyone has it or there may be a bulletin board by the bookstore where you can post what you need. I am not sure about textbook rentals.
