In the US there is no requirement, as of 2011, for any particular frequency of revision of MSDS. They must be revised when the information changes. Canada expects MSDS to be revised not less often than every three years. Other countries have other requirements.

No, almost every basic tenant of genesis has been disproven by even basic science and has been for years. Genesis is a lovely story and myth, but as a historic record its purely nonsense.

Not all authors know the science basics to write a book. If you are writing a science textbook ( this is not done by one person but several) you would need to know this, but if you were writing a English textbook you wouldn't need to know it. It takes dozens of people, many years, and several edits to turn out a textbook. Look in one of your textbooks and you will see a list of all the people who wrote it. The average textbook takes 5 years from the start until it is in the hands of students.
Encyclopedias were revised every few years to make them as up to date as possible. Each time it was revised, it became a new edition. If it was the fourth revision, it would be called the fourth edition.
The curent version of Incoterms 2010. Aprox every ten years the Incoterms are revised. The version before Incoterms 2010 was Incoterms 2000. Be careful ehen you use the Incoterms and always mention the version that you want to work with......
