The cost of raising a child from fetus (prenatal care, vitamins, etc...) to 18 can easily exceed $200,000 and this does NOT include the cost of sending the child to college, obtaining their first car or any of the other "nice" things parents would like to do for their children. This is mainly food, housing, clothing, healthcare, school supplies, daycare and transportation. No, not their car - YOURS. are you kidding me!? i know someone who has a baby who is one year old and has only spent about 20,000 and this baby has top of the line furniture,food,a lot of expensive toys, and a huge closet full of clothes plus an entire armoir of clothes! plus a dressor stocked with belongings! 200,000 dollars? i believe that was a typo!
