It can be caused be too rich gasoline/air mixture. Probably
carb. needs to be set up. Another reason could be wrong motor oil.
Do you check/change and use oil according to the manufacturers
specifications?

Yes, check to see that someone has not turned your thermostat
Fan control to "ON" instead of "Auto." If it is set to "ON" then
the furnace fan will remain on when the A/C has cycled off. NOTE:
This happens more often than you would think.
