In the Amazon rainforest, the length of days is relatively consistent throughout the year, typically lasting about 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. This is due to its proximity to the equator, where seasonal variations in day length are minimal. However, the experience of daylight can be affected by weather conditions and dense canopy cover, which can obscure sunlight.
The plants in the Amazon rainforest started growing a long, long, long, long time ago.

The Amazon rainforest spans approximately 5.5 million square kilometers, which translates to about 550,000,000,000 square meters. However, if you are referring to its length, the Amazon River, which flows through the rainforest, is about 4,345 kilometers long, or 4,345,000 meters. The rainforest itself is not typically measured in length, as it covers a vast area rather than extending in a linear fashion.

Mostly yes. The Amazon river goes though the Amazon basin which is the rainforest. Being over 6000 km long I cant say for sure that the entire river is surrounded by the forest but a good chunk is.
All year long.
