Well, there is animals like snakes and jaguars that can harm you so, yes.
By all means, no. The rainforests grow not in fertile soil but in their own leaf litter, this alone sustains them. When forest is cut/burnt down this leaf litter is gone leaving the poor soil behind. You may grow grass here but soon after the soil is depleted of all nutrients, no rainforest will regrow by any chance. Also many rainforest trees (mainly hardwoods like Teak and Mahogany) grow incredibly slowly, sometimes taking hundreds of years which makes tropical hardwood completely non-renewable. (even if you could just grow the stuff anywhere)
The amazon rainforest hold 70% of the world plants that have anticancer properties witch means if you have cancer the cure you could get would possibly be from the rainforest . Also lots of tribes - that have never had contact with the outside world live there and animals-that can only survive in the rainforest!

It is possible for the Amazon Rainforest to be completely felled. This would cause great destruction in the area because many animals would lose there habitats. It would also be a problem for drug companies that make medicines because many of the plants in the rainforest are used for this purpose.

No, never. Ozone depletion could never have a good effect on natural resources.
No, many natural resources have nothing to do with providing energy. Fresh water is a natural resource, ores and minerals also come to mind. Even many types of rock such as marble, granite, even gravel pits could be considered natural resources.
