The answer I got from the two I researched was a loud no! They don't want guests to have to worry about a dog on a leash during their visit for a number of reasons. One main reason, they can't predict the dogs reaction to the animals, this can cause undue stress for the animals and needs to be avoided. Also, the Zoos are concerned about the dogs remaining on the leash at all times, there is never a way to "police a leash policy", so the rule to keep dogs out. These are just two of the reasons, there were other issues, but these were the main ones.

No, dogs are not allowed at the Maryland Zoo. The zoo has a strict policy against bringing pets to ensure the safety and well-being of both the animals and visitors. Service animals are permitted, but they must be trained to assist individuals with disabilities. It's best to check the zoo's official website for any specific guidelines or exceptions.
