In my own opinion I do NOT think that zoos are the best places for animals to be. A few years ago my local zoo had dolphins, and they died 6 months after. Its because of captivity, its very unnatural. Sea world does it too. They use the whales and dolphins and seals for entertainment then when the day is over they lock them up in a cramped up space and the animals can become very unhealthy because of that. They all say that they put animals in zoos and use animals for entertainment because it helps them, but that's just what they want you to believe. Animals in captivity have a better chance of dying then they would out in the wild. animals are meant to roam free. not to be locked up. just like humans. when humans are put in jail cells it can drive them nuts.
