Hillary recognized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in mountaineering, which suggests he valued Norgay's contributions during their ascent of Everest. While Hillary was an experienced climber, the challenges of the expedition required both their skills and efforts to successfully reach the summit. Therefore, it's reasonable to conclude that he believed Norgay's assistance was crucial in overcoming the obstacles they faced.

When wind slows down or meets an obstacle, it loses the energy needed to transport sediment and may deposit the material it was carrying. This process can lead to erosion around the obstacle where the wind's ability to move the sediment is diminished.
To avoid an obstacle on a personal watercraft (PWC), first, maintain a proper lookout and stay aware of your surroundings. Slow down as you approach the obstacle to give yourself more time to react. Steer your PWC away from the obstacle using smooth, controlled movements, and always be prepared to adjust your course as needed. Finally, ensure you have a safe distance from the obstacle before resuming normal speed.

To avoid an obstacle while operating a personal watercraft (PWC), the rider must steer away from the obstacle and reduce speed by letting off the throttle. Unlike traditional boats, PWCs rely on water pressure for steering, so it’s essential to maintain a steady grip on the handlebars while maneuvering. Additionally, anticipating potential obstacles and maintaining a safe distance can help prevent collisions. Always be aware of your surroundings and adjust your course as needed.
Obstacles might include mudslides, passing through a mountain range, different levels of land and lakes, diseases that affected workers, and the opposition of the Colombian government to the presence of the United States in the region. Engineers had to build a dam, design and build locks, and remove huge amounts of earth and rock. A medical obstacle is that scientists had to develop vaccines and medications to treat the disease malaria that affected many workers. A political obstacle was that the government of Colombia did not allow the United States to build the canal. The United States helped Panama revolt against Columbia, and Panama gave the United States the permission it needed.
