yes
There is no face on the back of the Lincoln statue at his memorial. It is completely false that one exists.
The faces of four US Presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt, are carved into Mount Rushmore National Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Another mountain monument is being carved into Thunderhead Mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The face on that monument is that of the Oglala Lakota warrior, Crazy Horse. The monument is part of the Crazy Horse Memorial.
The statue in Washington,D.C called the Lincoln Memorial, the penny, five dollar bill, face carved in Mount Rushmore, and Valentines day.
I also have one with letters from liberty across the face. Thanks
Mount Rushmore National Memorial is carved into the granite rock face of a mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It features the sculpted heads of four United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
I'm not sure but they say it was the face of General Robert E. Lee.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota, in the United States. Sculpted by Danish-American Gutzon Borglum and his son, Lincoln Borglum, Mount Rushmore features 60-foot sculptures of the heads of four United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
Wheat cents are a variety of Lincoln cents minted from 1909 to 1958, currently worth about two cents. The Lincoln memorial pennies are still face value.
It's still only one cent. This is NOT a mint error.
The US one cent piece (penny) has the portrait of Lincoln on the "face" of the coin. The obverse (back) pictures the Lincoln Memorial. Both are connected to one of the most revered US Presidents.
No US bill lists all 50 states. You may be thinking of the image of the Lincoln Memorial that's been on on the back of the $5 bill since 1928. The Lincoln Memorial itself has the names of all 48 states that were in the Union at the time the monument was built. Because the bill can only show one face of the building only 26 names are visible.
The Lincoln cent (1959 to present) features Lincoln on both sides of the coin. On the obverse, we see his face in profile; on the reverse, he is seated in the Lincoln Memorial. 1 cent (penny).
