The Great barrier reef has an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometres Australia has an Area of--------------------------------- 7,617,930 square kilometres
The world's largest living organism is the Great Barrier Reef. It is the world's largest coral reef, stretching over 2,000 km. It is a collection of many organisms, altogether forming one big superorganism. So, therefore the Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest living thing.
They mostly go to big, ocean life areas, like the Great Barrier Reef. The reef has a lot of exotic ocean life, where it is 'paradise for them.
Answer:I don't really think you should go snorkeling where there's sharks around! What you could do is try to swim away from the shark before it catches you. Cuddly sharksThere is a real effort in the world's great diving spots - ex. Great Barrier Reef - to develop a new attitude to sharks. I snorkeled there recently for several weeks, would see sharks often (white tipped, black tipped, nurse, etc) and they would just swim by and not pay any attention to me. Sure there are sharks that if hungry will go after a human, especially if it thinks the human is a seal, but in general sharks are not that big, not that hungry, not that interested. Sharks have a role on the reefs and killing them off (as we have - many harmless sharks are endangered) is killing the role, and that threatens the reef.
The seven wonders of the world were chosen by how magnificent and glorious they were (also how big). For example, one of the seven wonders of the world is the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Do you want to know how that reef got chosen? Because it's the biggest reef in the world (literally, no jokes).
