It is advisable to have a 'spotter' at or near your point of lift off to maintain a vigil for objects and obstacles in the landing space. First: Find a dune that has a long run up and a long flat landing space. Next, understand the terrain. Dunes will decrease the acceleration and increase the braking speed of your vehicle. When approaching the jump, maintain a high steady speed and do not release the throttle. Once airborne, release the throttle. After passing the apex of your jump, reapply pressure to the throttle to maintain forward momentum at landing. Hold the handlebars or steering wheel of the vehicle steady as the forward wheel(s) will wobble extensively landing.
