I have been asked this question a lot of times. First, for the gloves we use firm grip gloves from Home Depot and on the fingertips we have half inch 90 degree conduit connectors also from Home Depot and on the palm we have a flint stick and washers. Second, if you are brand new to sliding you should probably wear protective knee pads but if you are a professional you should probably wear smith scabs or 187 knee pads. Finally, for shoes you have buy steel toe boots from Walmart and take the steel toe cap out of the boot and glue it to a shoe that you dont need any more but make sure to glue it with a strong adhesive and the steel toe is what makes the sparks on your shoes.make sure you also glue the connectors to the gloves with a strong adhesive as well.
