As of my last update, SeaWorld Orlando has over 300 penguins, representing various species, including the popular African and Gentoo penguins. The park features a dedicated habitat called "Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin," which provides an immersive experience for visitors. For the most current numbers, it's best to check SeaWorld's official website or contact them directly.

Penguins are found at many aquariums, or zoos. Penguins live in the south pole and other places in the southern hemisphere. Suprising as you think, penguins live in hot places, like Africa. Penguins are at SeaWorld, Orlando, FL ; Atlantis, Riverhead, NY ; a place in Boston- I dont know the name; and many other places. I have seen the amazing, adorable penguins at these places. I doubt you will go to Africa, or Antarctica just to see these penguins. So, try an aquarium near you, if they don't have any- they suck. But, I think it's important- you should know PENGUINS ROCK!
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment owns the parks as well as Discovery Cove, Aquatica, Bush Gardens, Adventure Island, Water Country USA, and Sesame Place. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is owned by The Blackstone Group L.P.

No, penguins are not born waterproof. When they hatch, their feathers are not yet fully developed and lack the necessary oils to make them waterproof. It takes time for the young penguins to grow their adult feathers and acquire the waterproofing oils from their parents' preening. Until then, they are vulnerable to getting wet and cold.
