Insulation
This depends on the insulation used in the particular carafe, and how hot it must be to be considered an acceptable temperature. A carafe with a vacuum flask interior can keep tea hot for hours.
The Thermos (vacuum) flask has a double skinned glass cylinder inside. Between the two walls of the glass cylinder is a vacuum. The glass cylinder is also silvered on all inner and outer surfaces. Both the vacuum and the silvering help to prevent the rapid cooling of a hot liquid, or the warming of a cold liquid. The vacuum inhibits heat transfer by conduction. The silvering reflects the heat and inhibits the heat escaping from the flask. Thermos (often used for a vacuum flask) is a trade-name.Eventually, as anyone who uses a vacuum flask, the once hot drink will have become cool by the end of the day.
a flask is where people pour hot drinks and take it out with them. the flask ensures that the drink remains hot for several hours so someone may take it for a picnic, prepare tea at 9 in the morning, and at 3 in the afternoon the tea is still hot.
Glass is a poor conductor of heat, meaning it doesn't easily transfer heat from the hot tea inside the teapot to the cooler air outside. This results in the tea staying hot for a longer period of time compared to other materials that are better conductors of heat.
Hot drinks such as tea and coffee are usually held in a thermos flask. The flask will keep the drink warm for several hours when one is outside or on the move. Cold drinks can also be kept in them or even non drinking liquids that one wishes to keep at a steady temperature.
You should use a flask that is a good insulator or poor conductor of heat to keep the tea warm. This will prevent heat from escaping the flask and help maintain the temperature of the tea for a longer period of time.
a flask is an insolator because if you have coffee, tea or juic it keeps it hot and cold
with the force!!
A glass thermos 'bottle' is constructed as a bottle-within-a-bottle and there is a slight vacuum between the bottles, since heat can't travel within a vacuum it will keep the contents hot/cold for a long time. In addition, they usually have a mirror coating on the outside to reflect hot/cold from the environment. The cap usually is hollow with an insulating material like cork or poly-foam.
They prefer tea cups as tea is served very hot and a tea cup is thinner than a coffee mug so the tea will cool quicker oppossed to a coffee mug which is supposed to keep your coffee hot.
it disloves
If you are using wood, metal, plastic, or a thermos it would have to be a thermos because inside of it there insulators. Insulators are used to keep whatever is inside the same without the stuff outside interfering. Why else do you think we drink hot coffee in a thermos.
