It is not really possible to answer that question with a simple answer. Here is why.

Jamestown is originally built at the point where Chautauqua Lake empties into the Chadakoin Rivier. In that area, particularly directly to the east, there is a swampy flood plain that includes part of the city. This area is just a matter of a few feet above the lake.

As the Chadakoin River winds its way through the city, it passes through Brooklyn Square and works its way toward Falconer. Here the city can be at or even below the lake level.

However, most of the city is well above the lake level. That is because most of Jamestown is built on and around several hills at the Southeast end of the lake. Some of these hills are quite steep and moderately tall. The elevation can be 200-300 feet above the lake.

It may be possible to come up with a median elevation of the city... but because of the huge variation in elevations of the city, it seems doubtful that such an answer would say much about any particular part of Jamestown.
