One concern though would be not enough beauty!!!!!!!!!! One of my favorite places to be is by the Eiffel Tower in the spring when it is just beautiful out. Oh wait, it's always beautiful in Paris!!!!!! There are absolutely no concerns. Everyone should visit Paris at leat 10 times in their life.

Alternatives to the Eiffel Tower...La Tour Montparnasse is one of the only skyscrapers in Paris, offering a wonderful view. L'Arc de Triomphe at Charles de Gaulle Etoile is not as high, but still offers a breathtaking view. As with Sacre Coeur, l'Arc de Triomphe requires a bit of stair climbing with no optional elevator....but the Eiffel Tower is nice, too.If you have several hours of free time and don't mind paying for the privilege, you can visit the Eiffel Tower. However, if you are on a budget and/or do not quite have the time to invest in the wait to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower, you can venture to the Sacre Coeur in Montmarte for some of the most breathtaking views of Paris. Best of all, the views from atop Montmarte are free, unless you decide climbing the (MANY) stairs to reach the Sacre is a bit too physically challenging for the tourist who has covered a lot of ground on minimal sleep for several days. In that case a small less lengthy than that you will encounter at the Eiffel Tower and a nominal fee will buy you a ride on the elevator that takes you to the foot of the Sacre Coeur. On a clear day, one can see all of Paris below as well as everything that lies approximately within a 20 mile radius.Just as a reminder, the monument you refer to is "MONTMARTRE," not "Montmarte."

You do not purchase your ticket prior to getting in line. The first line you wait in IS the line to the admission window and the first elevator ride. You will purchase your ticket immediately before boarding the first elevator. Once the line leads to the ticket window, you will have three choices: 1.) Ride the elevator to the first level, which will cost about $5.25 American. 2.) Ride to the elevator to the second level, which will cost about $9.75 American 3.) Ride all the way to the top for about $14 American. Note: Admission to the Eiffel Tower is NOT included in with the Paris Museum Pass.

Apart from the Eiffel Tower, there is not a lot to do immediately around the tower. There is a small park, a few small fair rides, shops and food stalls. The tower itself has a few shops, snack bars and a restaurant or two...oh and a champagne bar on the top deck (lift to top deck costs 5.5 euros extra, but worth every cent). The Musee D'Orsay is close by and has some very famous pieces of art. You could also try a cruise down the River Seinne, jumping on a boat very close to the tower. It is worth waiting to see the tower light up at night and IF you wait for a time on the hour (9 o'clock, 10 o'clock etc.) the tower flashes with hundreds of gold lights. There is a lot to do if you catch the RER, Metro or Bus nearby (walking is also an option). You could visit Loure Museum, Arc de Triumphe, Notre Dame Cathedral etc, but as I say only with a long walk or using public transport.
What can you say about the elevator on the Eifflr tower?
It goes up at an angle. When I went on a Bus tour to Paris the upper level elevators were being up-graded and closed. When it is Busy there canbe a 3 hour wait to go up the tower. Oh well next time I will get to the top if I have to go up the stairs.

You can build the Eiffel tower out of toothpicks any time as long as you have: toothpicks cardboard hot glue or tape. you can use earthier one but the tape is very complicated and not very neat looking. After you have all those minerals your ready to follow these steps! 1. your cardboard will be your surface, if you want it to be a different color I suggest painting it first then Wait until it drys 2. then lay out on apiece of paper what you want it to look like 3. you will have to do the out line first in toothpicks then you can start with the fancy structure. It will look like the efle tower exactly but with no lines in the middle if this doest work i feel you looking through every web sight just to find something useful. I say good luck you'll need it.
