Neuschwanstein is located in Bavaria. If you really want to see Ludwig's greatest castle go to his hunting lodge. It is fully decorated and with his furniture still in it. He also built a grotto with a lake in it that held a swan boat so he could sit in it and listen to music played for him. Neuschwanstein has very little inside it, but the area around it has his family castle across the lake and the area is very pretty.
