Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on Earth
As of 2021, approximately 19 women have successfully summited K2, the second highest mountain in the world. This number may vary depending on the availability of up-to-date records and expeditions.
I expect that many hundreds of climbers have left a flag on the summit of Mount Everest over the years. Many are probably blown away or destroyed by the strong winds.
