In June, Mount Fuji typically experiences around 15 to 20 rainy days due to the onset of the Japanese rainy season, known as "tsuyu." This period is characterized by increased humidity and precipitation across the region. The weather can vary yearly, so the exact number of rainy days may fluctuate.

As well as Mount Everest Junk Tabei has climbed Mount Fuji as well as the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps. On 28th June 1992 she finished the climb of Puncak Jaya to become the first woman to complete the Seven Summits.
While Mount Fuji does have snow on its peak for a significant portion of the year, especially during the colder months, it does not have snow all year round. The snow typically remains on the summit from about October to around early June.
