The Mississippi Delta is a good example.
The region good for fishing and farming in France is Brittany
The Mississippi delta and the Nile delta are both good examples of major rivers ending at a great body of water creating a sediment drop that has created the signature fan structure of a delta.
farming by a delta is good because the veggitation is lush and water plentifull. One example of a delta is in the middle east in acient mesopotamia, the tigres river and Euphrates river flow into the perasian gulf.Posted by: CREEPER2adsI dedicate this to the classroom of MR. A delta is the area where a large river joins an ocean or other large water body. The Mississippi River Delta in the Gulf of Mexico is a good example, and can be seen on sufficiently detailed maps.
Deltas are formed at the old stage of the river that is at the mouth of the river. Deposition is the main activity. The largest delta in the world is Ganga-Brahmaputra Delta.
Mississippi features diverse landforms such as the rolling hills of the Piney Woods region, the flat and fertile Delta region along the Mississippi River, and the sandy beaches and barrier islands along the Gulf Coast. The state also has numerous rivers, swamps, and bayous that contribute to its unique geography.
Delta land is good for farming because there is a deep layer of topsoil. This soil is full of sediment that was left by former flooding in the area. There is usually plenty of water, and the soil is more fertile than soil in other areas.
Before a river flows into a larger body of water, it often breaks into a group of small branches called a delta. The Nile and Mississippi Rivers are good examples.
not good because there was not a lot of rain
