It goes upside-down five times, but it isn't intense. You get pressed into your seat a bit at the bottom of some of the drops (but not even close to the point of pain), and you do get that sharp turn feeling on the corkscrews, but other than that, the ride is just as intense if not less intense than Cyclone.
It can be a bit rough in the back. The most intense part is the third inversion, which feels like going over a big hill on a regular coaster, but flipping over at the same time. The ride is not scary at all. If you want scary, sit in the back car of Cyclone and put your arms up on the first drop.
