divergent boundary
When the Atlantic Ocean grows in size due to a rift or tectonic activity, it is typically associated with the process of seafloor spreading at mid-ocean ridges. As tectonic plates pull apart, magma rises to fill the gap, creating new oceanic crust. This process gradually widens the ocean basin, contributing to the overall growth of the Atlantic Ocean over geological time.
Because of the drifting of continents on either side of the ocean which are north & south America on west and Europe & Africa on east.
The Pacific Ocean is due west; The Atlantic Ocean is due west. However, the Pacific borders California, while The Atlantic Ocean lies at the opposite side of the USA.
Pacific ocean is shrinking due to plate tectonics while Atlantic is increasing in size. Looked up the same question just now for a final tomorrow.
most likely the Pacific, due to its larger size. Although, I have not counted

The Atlantic Ocean receives 75% of sunlight due to the radiation toward the equator!!!!!
The Atlantic
The South Atlantic Ocean is currently expanding due to the movement of tectonic plates. This process, known as seafloor spreading, occurs along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge where new crust is formed and pushes the existing crust apart, leading to the ocean's enlargement over time.
The Atlantic Ocean is growing due to seafloor spreading. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge runs down the center of the Atlantic, where new oceanic crust is continuously formed as tectonic plates pull apart. This process contributes to the widening of the Atlantic Ocean.
