A sea anemone has tentacles which sting any passing fish. I' think they then eat it but you'd have to check that up because I'm not quite sure. Clown fish, however are not affected by the sting, so often you will find clown fish living by then. As soon as any predator arrives, they'll swim to the safety of these anemones, where the predator can only get them if it wants to be stung.

That's one of the characteristics.
