Aptos, I am not sure if it is a city or census designated place but it is a small town type place in Santa Cruz County on the Monterey Bay which is a bay on the top half of the Central California Coast in Northern California. I was born in Santa Cruz and most of my family lives in Aptos. I don't live in Aptos though it is a long story why. Hint: part of the Central Coast is in Southern California
