Following Yellowstone, the next national parks established were Yosemite in 1890, Sequoia in 1890, and Mount Rainier in 1899. Other notable early parks include Glacier National Park in 1910 and Grand Canyon National Park in 1919. The establishment of these parks marked the beginning of the national park system aimed at preserving natural beauty and wildlife.
