SWED
You could put a limit of the amount of fishing and make sure expert go down with the tourists!
C. The effects of coral reef destruction are: 1. Coral reefs protect the land from storm and tidal surges, so when they are all destroyed frequent costal flooding occurs 2. Coral reefs are probable sources of medicines to cure the diseases that currently run rampant across the earth. Chemicals found in reefs have been used to treat ulcers, heart disease, leukemia and more. 3. Coral reefs absorb carbon dioxide and use it to form their shells if they are no more coral reefs then there would be more carbon dioxide in the ocean and our atmosphere.
The way coral reefs are being endangered are by us. We keep on throwing waste on the beaches. The water washes up on shore. And the waste floats down to the coral reefs. And the fishes and species that live there are either eating it or living in it. If they eat it the chemicals in the waste can kill them! if they are living in them then the saltwater in the coral reefs since the water is so warm, it release the chemicals in the water and the water gets into the species gills and kills them. It is up to us to stop throwing or leaving waste on the beaches so the coral reefs aren't in dangered anymore. So that is how the caorl reefs are endangered.
the reefs help to buffer the waves so as they come ashore they are weakened and have less of an impact on the shoreline. they also help to stop storm surges.
People can help the coral reefs by not fishing in coral reef areas. Also when diver are diving, to watch out for coral peices because it toke years to make that small little peice. Also don't ever put trash in the water because then the coral reef will then be covered with it and the not be able to breathe or grow.i learned that you can help by not fishing in coral reef areas
When swimming around coral reefs, look but do not touch. Quit driving and use a bicycle. Wear thicker clothing in winter and turn down the thermostat. Wear thinner clothing in summer and turn off the air conditioner.
Stop the dumping of pollutants and chemicals into the ocean which causes bleaching of the reefs.

because their called SEA TUTRLES! That was the last answer, to which I say, "Hey, answer the question and stop trying to be funny!" Sea turtles live in coral reefs because they provide protection and camouflage. Many sea turtles also eat things like shrimp and jellyfish, which live in the shallow-ocean zone, as coral does. Feel free to improve.

Coral reef are too shallow for sharks to be in, the diving continues to break bits and peices of the coral reefs. If the diving continues the tiny fish are exposed to sharks eventually leading to the gradual overpopulaion of sharks and with no fish left to eat in the ocean that sharks die off. so stop diving today :)
They should make it illegal because it destroys lots of habitats and coral.
