Contour lines are used in Topography to show the elevation of the land on a map. When looking at a map the contour lines look very similar to how a calm lake would appear.

we can see our reflection in calm lake because the water is not moving and in sea the water is moving very fastly
When a lake is calm, the surface acts like a flat mirror, reflecting light off of it and back to your eyes, allowing you to see your reflection. When the lake is moving, the surface becomes distorted, causing the light to scatter in different directions instead of reflecting back to you, making it hard to see a clear reflection.
There are several ways engineers calculate the volume of a lake. You need to know the surface area of the lake and the depth and contour of the lake.http://www.michigandnr.com/publications/pdfs/IFR/manual/SMII%20Chapter12.pdf
The lake was a calm gentle breeze. The calm baby was a volcano waiting to erupt with emotion.
Yes it does
If the density of surface water in a lake does not change, then the water at the surface will maintain its relative position compared to the denser water beneath it. This will result in stable stratification, with the surface water layer remaining on top and the denser water layer staying below.

Lake Ontario is larger with a surface area of 19,000 km2, while Lake Garda only has a surface area of 369.98 km2.
The common noun is "lake".
Lake Superior - by surface area Lake Baikal - by volume
I was very calm when my teacher called me up to read. The lake was calm and there was not enough wind for sailing.
