The sag ratio relates to suspension bridges. For cable-stayed bridges we talk about span ratio. They are the same thing but they're called differently simply because the cable of a suspension bridge sags.

The sag (or span ratio) is the ratio between the total distance c/c (center to center) between the pylons and the height of the pylons from the deck to the top.

Usually for suspension bridges the sag ratio is 1:9 or 1:10 for better aesthetic results.
