Seawater is a solution, with the solvent of water (H2O), and common solutes of ionized salt (Na+ and Cl-), Magnesium, Sulfur, Potassium, Calcium, Bromine, and Carbon. There are a variety of other elements, but they are in much smaller concentrations.
