Unfortunately I think they will fail.

The rainforests provide us many different medicins that are derived from the several THOUSANDS of different species of plants, and even insects. Yes, that right insects. The rainforests also provide us with food, because it is so easy to grow crops in the very loose, fertile, moist soil.
