The rain forest can provide us with services such as research. This research can be used in medicine or biodiversity -a variety of life in the same ecosystem. We also get goods from the rain forest which includes things like food, medicines and raw materials like wood or fuels.
I am not sure if there is a name for it but it is a connected temperature rainforest which stretches from practically the San Francisco Bay almost to the Aleutian Islands, it is the largest in the US and Canada.
