These facilities were turned over to the Panama Canal Government in 1958, when these bases were decommissioned (shut down by the Navy). The Coco Solo facilities, along with all the other facilities of the Panama Canal Zone, were turned over to the Panamanian Government as of October 2000. Presently, it is now known as The Manzanillo International Terminal.
